Please check out the link to the MiBiz article "Certified or Built to LEED Standards" which we were interviewed for by Chuck Otto. To me you can't say you build to LEED standards if you have never built a LEED Commercial or LEED for Homes project. To many builder are saying this to get their clients to build with them and so many of them don't even understand the LEED certification process or the building science behind the third party testing. LEED is the most recognized green building standard in the world and one of the best ways to prove you understand green building and you understand the building science behind green building. If you want your home or building built to LEED Standards then make sure you get your building or home certified or you may not get building or home that you wanted.
